On a bright late summer’s afternoon last September, I was invited to do Jude and Chris’ wedding photography at The Bond, Digbeth. Set right in the heart of the creative community in Birmingham, a friendly neighbourhood of free spirits and creators, The Bond offers a unique and contemporary venue steeped in a rich and industrious heritage.

Hampton Manor is a wedding venue I’ve had the pleasure of returning to time and time again. Situated in 45 acres of woodland and just 15 miles from Birmingham City Centre, it’s a wonderful countryside haven. Last March I was invited to do wedding photography at Hampton Manor for Mark and Phil.
Tucked away between the rolling hills of the Worcestershire countryside, Curradine Barns never fails to delight and surprise. From the red brick courtyard to the 19th-century barn interior it offers an enchanted, rustic aesthetic with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
As a busy Birmingham wedding photographer I love a unique wedding venue so returning to shoot wedding photography at The Bond Company is always a treat. Sarah and Joe chose the perfect venue for their summer wedding.
Sarah and Kevin chose the perfect venue for their wedding. The award-winning Mill Barns offers beautiful contemporary barns with outdoor terraces and eight acres of stunning gardens and all at a waterfront location.
Christmas Eve Eve is perhaps one of the most romantic times of the year for a wedding. I had the pleasure of providing Emily and Ben’s wedding photography at Manor Hill House, Bromsgrove. It always stuns me how many fantastic wedding venues can be found at the end of a winding country lane or hidden away behind ancient hedgerows.
We were blessed with glorious blue skies on the day of Adam and Katie’s wedding photography at Hampton Manor, a stunning Victorian building that houses the renowned Michelin star ‘Peel’s Restaurant’. Built-in 1855 this enchanting site offers a cosy and sophisticated wedding venue.
I’ve photographed weddings in the creative sector of Birmingham before – Fazeley Studios and The Custard Factory are always extremely popular – and The Bond Company proved to be no different. In fact, it’s recommended by the Birmingham Mail as one of the top wedding venues in the entire city!
I had the privilege of taking Sam and Rebecca’s wedding photography at Moxhull Hall, a venue I have returned to time and time again. This Victorian country house and hotel in Sutton Coldfield, just on my doorstep, is one of the most welcoming wedding venues I’ve ever had the honour of photographing.
Set in the heart of the digital and creative community in Digbeth, this urban treasure offers a spectacular venue for weddings. The high ceilings and unique vintage-style furnishings provided a delightful setting and made my experience of doing wedding photography at Fazeley Studios for Christian and Jayne all the more enjoyable.
This great Victorian building was once an eye hospital, and Richard and Jayne showed they have an eye for style when they chose Birmingham’s Hotel Du Vin for their wedding. (Sorry for the bad joke!)
Over the years, I’ve photographed a number of stunning locations such as old and historic buildings, manor houses, and grand hotels. At Andrew and Laura’s wedding, however, I was given the opportunity to shoot wedding photography at Birmingham Library, an ultra-modern wedding venue which was completely new to me.
Hayley and Ryan chose luxurious Nuthurst Grange, Hockley Heath, for their summer wedding. Luxurious, contemporary interiors and beautiful manicured gardens gave me the perfect backdrop to take great shots of Hayley, Ryan and their guests. Nuthurst Grange really was the perfect venue for them.
OK, admittedly it’s just around the corner from where I live, but seriously, Moxhull Hall is a great venue. It’s not too big, so you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. It’s surrounded by some lovely gardens, and the building is gorgeous inside and out.
Shooting wedding photography at the magnificent grade II listed Weston Hall is always special, but more so when I get to work with great couples like Sarah and Mark.
I always enjoy shooting wedding photography at Fairlawns Hotel especially when I get to work with great couples like Isabelle and Richard. Fairlawns Hotel is such an elegant and stylish venue which offers a bespoke wedding service making it the perfect choice for Isabelle and Richard’s wedding.
Zoe and Rob’s wedding was the first time I had shot wedding photography at Stanbrook Abbey so when I turned up at the reception and they gave me a map I thought they were joking. It turned out I needed that map, Stanbrook Abbey is enormous, so being a Wedding Photographer at Stanbrook Abbey was going to include some exercise!
Ricci and Saralee chose Birtsmorton Court, the stunning Grade I listed fortified medieval moated manor house near Malvern in Worcestershire. I knew Saralee had a surprise arranged for Ricci, but little did I realise how great the singing policemen would be. If you’re looking for a wedding singer I can’t recommend these guys enough!
