Hayley and Ryan chose luxurious Nuthurst Grange, Hockley Heath, for their summer wedding. I always enjoy shooting wedding photography at Nuthurst Grange because it is a fantastic venue. Luxurious, contemporary interiors and beautiful manicured gardens gave me the perfect backdrop to take great shots of Hayley, Ryan and their guests. Nuthurst Grange really was the perfect venue for them.

On the day I arrived at the hotel early so I could take some shots of Hayley and her bridal party as they made their preparations. Hayley was in good hands with her attentive and fun bridesmaids. There was a gorgeous antique mirror in the room which I used to take a lovely shot of Hayley. I also managed to get time to catch up with the boys and take a couple of shots of Ryan and his best man Scott who were in good spirits (though Ryan was needing some help with his cufflinks!)

The ceremony was held in Nuthurst Grange’s recently restored Stable Barn suite, which made for an intimate wedding setting. The room was dressed beautifully and the light that flooded in through the window and bounced off the white walls gave me the perfect lighting to take some great shots.
After the ceremony there was a drinks reception held in the pretty courtyard area outside the stable suite and an opportunity for me to take some group shots, some formal and some fun! I also quickly took Hayley and Ryan around the amazing grounds of Nuthurst Grange to get some great portrait shots of the two of them.

Then everybody went inside for the wedding breakfast. Now, I like little touches at weddings, they show the couples personalities. At Hayley and Ryan’s wedding I liked the way the room was dressed. Purple was the running theme of the day with every chair elegantly dressed and a spectacular floral display on each table.

After a sumptuous wedding breakfast followed by some very well received speeches it was onto the evening entertainment. Hayley and Ryan had a romantic first dance and the cutting of the cake was held back so that their evening guests could share in the moment. Then it was onto the evening entertainment that saw many of Hayley and Ryans guests hit the dancefloor and many more spilling outside to the courtyard to enjoy the summers evening.

A laid back fun wedding at a stylish venue. Congratulations to Hayley and Ryan for getting married and allowing me to tell the story of your day. I hope my images will help you to relive it again and again for many years to come.
