Wedding Photography at Alcott Farm

Getting to shoot wedding photography at Alcott Farm is one of the nice things about being a West Midlands wedding photographer.  A rural retreat in the rolling Worcestershire countryside it is the perfect venue for outdoor, boho or festival style weddings.  But don’t imagine outdoors means basic.  Take a look at the images accompanying this post that show you just how lavish and opulent these temporary structures can be.

A family-run business, Alcott Farm is a working horse livery yard.  It’s the spectacular location with lakes, fields, trees and horses that make it such an idyllic setting for a wedding which is one of the reasons why I always love returning to be a wedding photographer at Alcott Farm.

So if you’re considering a Wedding at Alcott Farm then read on as I will be answering a few questions for you about this amazing venue.

How do weddings at Alcott Farm work?

There’s a unique pick n mix approach to wedding planning at Alcott Farm.  You start by choosing a temporary structure from a host of suppliers.  This can be a marquee, a capris marquee, a tipi or a yurt and then it is erected next to a beautiful lake.  Then you build your wedding from there.  You can choose your caterers, videographer, florists, and of course a photographer to take you wedding photography at Alcott Farm.

The team at Alcott Farm are really experienced in helping you create your perfect bespoke wedding and can recommend the best suppliers in the area.  So, if you’re looking for your wedding done your way an Alcott Farm wedding could be the perfect choice for you.

Could bad weather spoil my Alcott Farm wedding?

In a word, No!  This was a fear that the owners had which was why they put a full drainage system in place so that the field could not get too wet.  The marquees and other temporary structures are of a high standard and once inside you’ll have no idea what the weather is doing outside.  And with a beautiful barn conversion bridal prep area you are guaranteed to get ready in comfort.

I’m planning a big wedding. Does Alcott Farm have capacity for that?

Another great thing about Alcott Farm is that there’s almost no limitation on numbers.  Exclusive use and lots of space means that they can accommodate up to 499 guests so are a great choice for Asian or Fusion weddings.  And with you booking all the suppliers and caterers yourself you can really keep an eye on your budget.

Is there any accommodation at Alcott Farm for my guests to stay in?

Firstly, there is a gorgeous suite for the bride and groom to spend the night in.  There are also many options for guests wishing to stay over.  There is glamping and camping onsite and many B&B’s nearby.  The team at Alcott Farm can help you with arranging accommodation for your guests.

Alcott Farm really is the perfect choice for anyone looking for an extraordinary West Midlands wedding venue that they will be have a hand in creating and therefore stamp their personalities on.  As a busy West Midlands wedding photographer it’s always great to return to Alcott Farm and see just what my brides and grooms have done with it.
