Yes, which is great because you and your guests can really explore this unusual venue. This also means that your wedding day can flow between different spaces. You could have your wedding ceremony in the Garden Room, your drinks reception in the courtyard and your wedding reception in The Fazeley Room which can seat up to 200 guests.
I love the neighbourhood. Digbeth is steeped in industrial history. The old warehouses, railway viaducts, cobbled streets set against the modern urban feel of the street art and vibrant street food scene. It all makes an intoxicating fusion that provide me with an ever-changing backdrop in my images. When I shoot Fazeley Studios wedding photography I quickly whisk the bride and groom away to get some amazing portrait images of them in and around this fantastic area of Birmingham. I choose my moment carefully (whilst guests are happily drinking and chatting) and we’re so quick that everyone barely noticed we left!
Firstly, I’ll say what I’d say to all brides and grooms. Firstly choose a wedding photographer who’s style you love, as the photography will be the enduring end-product that will be with you forever. Don’t go for a style that’s too heavy on instagram filters as these may not stand the test of time. Check out their website. Do you like their style of photography? Do they have any experience of being a West Midlands wedding photographer at Fazeley Studios? Are there testimonials from happy clients on their website? Will they allow you to speak to their previous clients? A professional photographer will not only have all the right equipment, they’ll have back up equipment as well. There will be a contract to protect you and you’ll be able to relax knowing you’re in safe and experienced hands. When it comes to shooting wedding photography at Fazeley Studios if they haven’t shot weddings there before ask them if they intend to visit the venue before your wedding day.
If you’re someone who hates having your photograph taken, I recommend you book a pre-wedding or engagement shoot with them so that you can all get used to each other before the wedding day. An experienced West Midlands wedding photographer will be able to give you hints and tips to help you to relax in front of the camera.
So that concludes my blog about weddings at Fazeley Studios. I hope it has been helpful. If you’re currently planning your Fazeley Studios wedding and are looking to book someone to provide your Fazeley Studios wedding photography, then get in touch.
I’d love to hear about your wedding plans …
