So what do I do when I’m not pointing cameras at couples? Living in the centre of Sutton Coldfield, it’s hard to stay out of all the great local bars and restaurants with Melanie. I’m still not bored of Grand Theft Auto 5 yet, and I keep renewing my football season ticket even if the entertainment isn’t always evident. I won’t tell you who I support until after you book me!
I used to sell landscape photography at local arts and craft fairs, however I’m too busy with weddings now, which is fine as I love being a Birmingham Wedding Photographer. I get such as buzz when couples get their photos back and are over the moon with their pictures (some have even cried after seeing them!)
I was a DJ in my student days, and played in front of Robbie Williams, Sasha and Bjork (oh, and had a fight with Ocean Colour Scene). I’ve been a Computer Programmer and have a degree in Computer Science (so I love gadgets!) I’ve travelled the world, mostly for pleasure, sometimes for business. From Argentina to Vietnam. (I couldn’t think of a “Z”).
I’m never far away from music, and have a passion for anything from A-ha to Zero 7. First gig? Deacon Blue (don’t laugh!). Favourite gig? Probably Primal Scream’s Screamadelica Tour (that’s going back a bit!). I also love a good film or box-set. Anything from House of Cards to Walking Dead, though more recently I thought The Leftovers was gripping.
So what next?
The two main things I recommend people look for in a photographer – is find someone who’s photography and style you love, and find someone who you think you’ll get on with, after all I would be with you all day. There’s no hard sell once you get in touch, I’ll simply explain what I do and answer any questions you may have.
If you would like to chat further then give me a call or just drop me a quick email to check whether I am available for your special day. Most couples then choose to meet up for a coffee or drink to discuss in more detail and to make sure they’re happy with me in person.
So it’s over to you now, even if you’ve only got a couple of questions for now, I’d be more than happy to hear from you.
Bye for now!
