Being a Nuthurst Grange Wedding Photographer is always fun, especially when you get to work with great couples like Janine and Mark. The venue’s luxurious interiors are flooded with natural light, and the landscaped grounds ensure all of my outside shots are framed by the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. Making the job of this Nuthurst Grange Wedding photographer so much easier.
On the day I arrived to take some images of Janine as she made her preparations. She was being attentively looked after by her bridal party and everybody was in good spirits. Janine looked amazing in her beautiful dress that really suited her and the style of the wedding. Before leaving the house I took some shots of Janine, her mum and her bridesmaids.
I then headed for Nuthurst Grange. A bit of history for you, Nuthurst means ‘nut wood’ and was one of the earliest places mentioned in the records of Warwickshire! On arrival I took a few shots of Janine and Mark’s guests who were milling about and caught up with Mark who was in good spirits. The ceremony was held in Nuthurst Grange’s recently restored Stable Barn suite, a beautiful self-contained building with a cosy feel which is perfect for intimate wedding ceremonies.
Afterwards Janine, Mark and their guests enjoyed a drinks and canapes reception in the pretty courtyard and I took the chance to take some informal shots of Janine and Mark’s guests enjoying themselves in the sunshine. Then there was time for some group and family shots on the lawn before I whisked Janine and Mark away for a few portrait shots around the beautiful grounds of Nuthurst Grange. These were some of my favourite images of the day.
We then re-joined everybody back inside for the reception. I always enjoy seeing the little touches in weddings as it always tells me something of the couples tastes and personalities. At Janine and Mark’s wedding the simple white linen tablecloths, the chairs draped in mint chiffon and the yellow floral displays looked elegant and chic and worked effortlessly with the grandeur of Nuthurst Grange. After some very well received speeches Janine, Mark and their guests settled down to a sumptuous wedding breakfast.
Afterwards I took some shots of Janine and Mark cutting the cake which had three tiers and was mint in colour with icing detail made to look like lace. It looked great and was really unique.
Then it was onto dessert which was really impressive, a chocolate fountain with an array of treats ready for dipping. There was also a traditional popcorn machine and a ferris wheel of traditional pick n mix sweets. Quirky and fun!
Before the light faded I took Janine and Mark outside to take some portrait shots from the balcony with the beautiful Warwickshire countryside behind them.
The evening reception was a fun affair, starting with Janine and Mark’s first dance. A live band ensured they weren’t alone on the dancefloor for long. After dark we went outside to take some lovely sparkler shots of Janine and Mark with Nuthurst Grange lit up around them. Back inside the merriment continued until well into the night. My last shot as the Nuthurst Grange Wedding Photographer, was of the venue all lit up in the moonlight with Janine, Mark and their guests all partying inside and this felt like the perfect image to close the story of Janine and Mark’s day.
A gorgeous wedding for this lovely couple. Congratulations to Janine and Mark for getting married and creating such a memorable day for yourselves, your family and your friends. I hope my images will help you to relive it again and again for many years to come.
