Here are the typical questions I am asked. If you still have any questions then I would be happy to hear from you.

Wedding Questions

Q – How long will you stay?
A – Don’t mind. If you want me to stay long enough to get some drunken dancing photos then that’s fine

Q – We are getting ready at two different locations, can you cover both locations at the same time?
A – Yes, however you will need to take out the “second photographer” option for an additional £150

Q – We are getting married abroad. Do you do international weddings?
A – Yes, I am happy to travel overseas to photograph weddings. However I will ask that you pay for flights and accommodation

Q – Do I need to pay a deposit?
A – Yes please.  Once you have paid a £100 deposit, I will reserve the date for you. The remainder balance should be paid 6 weeks prior to the wedding.  The deposit is not refundable as it might be too late for me to find an alternative wedding for that date

Q – What’s the engagement shoot for?
A – It’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other, so I’m not a stranger on the big day. It will also get you used to having your photo taken before the wedding, one less thing to be nervous about on the wedding day. Oh and of course, you’ll have some more great photos!

Q – Does the engagement shoot have to be outside, or can we have a studio session?
A – Studio session is fine if you prefer

Q – What do I use the engagement shoot photos for?
A – Some people use them for the wedding – a large picture for all the guests to sign, or framed pictures placed around the venue. You could also use them for your Facebook pages, or hang a canvas / picture frame on the wall at home

Q – Do you just provide the wedding photographs on disc, or can you provide prints too?
A – I’ll upload your final images to my website, where you’ll be able to browse the images and buy professional quality prints. You can also invite friends and family to view the images or buy prints online

Family Photography Questions

Q – What should we wear?
A – If you are opting for the “high key” white background photography, then please wear bright colours or dark colours which won’t blend into the white background. If we are doing a more natural indoors/outdoors shoot then just wear your favourite indoor/outdoor clothing

Q – Should we do the family shoot at home, or at the studio?
A – Up to you. However due to studio costs, I can only do the cheaper £50 package at your home.  For a home session we will need a space of about 15 x 15 square feet for the studio lights and backdrop, so you might need to push the sofa back

Q – Do you have disabled facilities?
A – Yes, the studio is on the ground floor, has disabled access and facilities

General Questions

Q – Do you have a proper camera?
A – Yes, I use high-end (full-frame) Canon cameras, with very expensive lenses!
