I’m well overdue letting you all know the weddings I’ve been photographing in 2017. Back in April I had the pleasure of providing Andrew and Emma’s Wedding Photography at Moxhull Hall in Sutton Coldfield, and St Chad’s Church in Lichfield.
I’m always very happy to be going back to be the Moxhall Hall Wedding Photographer. OK admittedly it’s just around the corner from where I live, but seriously, Gary and his team at Moxhull Hall always make me feel very welcome and always look after me and we work well together without any hiccups. Moxhull Hall is a great venue. It’s not too big, so you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. It’s surrounded by some lovely gardens, and the building is gorgeous inside and out.
Emma and her Bridal Party spent the morning together in one of the cottages in the Moxhull Hall grounds, before switching to the Bridal Suite to put on their dresses. Emma’s Dad was natually very moved when he saw Emma in her wedding dress, and there’s a great photo of that moment. Meanwhile a shiny big red London bus awaited to ferry the guests from the hotel to the St Chad’s Church in Lichfield. The church has special significance as that’s where Emma’s parents also got married.
After a lovely service at the Church and a few photos around the grounds of the Church, all the guests jumped back on the bus and headed back to Moxhull Hall. Andrew and Emma returned in style, in a vintage Rolls Royce.
The wedding guests were treated to a lovely wedding breakfast in the Marquee by Gary and his excellent team, before some great speeches by Emma’s Father, Andrew and his Best Men. We then popped outside again to get a few more pictures of the couple in the lovely Moxhull Hall gardens, before returning for the evening entertainment.
I provided a photo booth for the evening reception, which always goes down really well at weddings. There was plenty of silly dancing and shape throwing for me to capture on the dance floor. Some of my favourite pictures always happen in the evening, as everyone has a few drinks and suddenly want their photo taken in lots of silly poses, which is just fine by me!
So a great day with Andrew, Emma, their family and friends thanks for letting me share your special day with you!
